It is so wonderful to know we can turn to the One we love and ask; “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psa. 51:10 (KJV)

The key to this day and life as Christians is to have a right spirit while God is dealing with us “in the wilderness”

Deuteronomy 2:7 For the LORD your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the LORD your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing. (NLT)

Isn’t that just to wonderful for words! We can rejoice and praise him! He is the one who led us from slavery, to this dark carnal world, to victory and abundant life in His Kingdom. The Kingdom of His Precious Son, Jesus Christ. But on this journey God will deal with the issues of your heart!

Be careful: 1 Corinthians 10:10,11 And don’t grumble as some of them did…. 11 These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.

Let us pray and ask God to help us today to have a right attitude and spirit in the face of every situation you might face today! He will prepare a feast for you in the presence of your enemies. He will honor you by anointing your head with oil. Your cup overflows with blessings. (My version of Psa. 23:5)

Humble yourself before God and don’t resist when He deals with your heart!

Now praise Him for the victory

Good morning my fellow believers

It is the middle of the week and 1God has been our refuge, our shelter and His angels are protecting us wherever we go! We can, right now, breathe a sigh of relieve, for He will 1protect those who trust in His Name!

Now that, is the way to start this day, hearing His Word, acknowledge it, thanking Him for it, then LIVE IT! The author of Hebrews says;

Hebrews 13:5-6 b For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." 6 So-we-can-say-with-confidence, "The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?" (Deut 31:6, 8)

After hearing what God has said, (hearing the Word), he believes it, and activate his faith by confessing aloud! The Lord Is My Helper…!!

Make time now to meditate on this; God said "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." …. Now confess to Him; “Lord You are my helper, so I will have no fear for this day. Thank you for your Angels who are protecting me and my family today, because we are trusting in your Name, the Name of Jesus! Amen.

May you have a fearless day!!

End Note1 Psalm 91

It is a new week a new day, full of potential. This morning we have an expectancy for Gods Mighty Power to break through in our lives because of Jesus’ life In us, On us and Through us!

Mary of Bethany gave her tears, her hair, her all. John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, laid on the chest of Jesus. What did Lydia of Thyatira do?

Acts 16:14-15 14 One of them was Lydia from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshiped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. 15 She was baptized along with other members of her household, and she asked us to be her guests. "If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord," she said, "come and stay at my home." And she urged us until we agreed. (NLT)

The quality of Lydia that draws me to her is found in the phrase “and the Lord opened her heart”. The contrast is having a “closed heart” If your heart is closed you will never hear that soft whispering of the Holy Spirit… leading you to have a deep intimate knowledge of the Lover of your Soul, Jesus Christ.

Let us check our hearts this morning… right now take a moment… ask Him to soften your heart, and to open your heart to the voice of the Holy Spirit and create in you a heart like Lydia’s! a Heart that worship, listen, respond, entertain and give to the Lord!

May you have a God inspired day.

Inspired by: James W. Goll in his book “The Lost Art Of Practicing His Presence”

Psalm 46:6

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; [God] lifts his voice, the earth melts…

9 [God] makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire. 10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

This is how it looks in your world today. You are in the midst of up roaring nations and kingdoms that fall…turmoil and chaos! But God speaks a word to us, He says: Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

There is nothing you need to do. Don’t be upset, don’t be afraid, don’t be nervous, be anxious over nothing. Be still, and know He is God!!

He is in control of your life. He promised that His purpose for your life is in His hands and you will reach His destiny and calling He has for you. God will be exalted among the nations, He will be exalted in the earth.

Can you become still for a moment…. Let the Holy Spirit overshadow your restless mind… and say to your heart BE STILL!

In Jesus’ Name.

This morning I want to echo the words of David…

Psalm 31:19 19

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

Sometimes it feels like God has forgotten about us… That His blessing has somehow dried up in our lives, we feel cut off and dry. But here is the promise… God is storing up your blessings…  And He will pour it on you in the face of a watching world!  We must fear the Lord and make Him alone our refuge!

Let us take a moment to let the Holy Spirit minister to our heart…  “Father we run to you for our salvation.  We had a wonderful week in you presence and we worship You for that.  Father bless this weekend of wonderful rest and fellowship in the Name of Jesus our Lord!”

Be aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence today, and feel His peace in your heart!
