Wait For The Lord

Before you start this day... I want to encourage you,... no, press upon your heart, did you spend time in His presence this morning?  For us who belong to Him it is vitally important to acknowledge our deep dependency on His Grace and Mercy and to surrender our thoughts, imaginations, ideas and will to His will, thoughts and strength in our lives!

These things are not automatic just because you proclaim to be a Christ Follower.  Unless you make time and intentionally come to the Father and surrender your ways for His ways, ask for forgiveness and strength and pray for His leading today..., you are on your own! Your day just might be one of those days, and you have yourself to blame!

Bring a Sacrifice and be Delivered

Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. 15 Then call on Me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give Me glory.”  (Psalm 50:14-15 New Living Translation)

There is a divine way out of trouble!  Do you have trouble this morning?  Are you in the midst of pressure against you?  Do you feel trapped and can't see a way out?  There is a way!  A way to God.  "Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God". To the natural mind that seems a bit senseless.  But it is the way to release God's Power in your situation!

Once Paul and Silas were severely beaten, thrown in jail, their feet put in stocks and in the midst of their traumatic situation, in the middle of the night, they began to sing... songs of thanksgiving...  Suddenly the whole jail shook violently and all the doors swung open and they were free.  God intervened!  (Acts 16:25)

It is very hard to give praise and thanksgiving in the midst of pressure and trouble but you will be amazed to see God's Mighty hand move on your behalf when you abandon yourself on Him and praise and thank Him, He is your Father!

The Law Of Love...

God's purpose for us is to be just like Him.  God is a Giver and He is Love...

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  (1 John 4:8 New Living Translation)

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love.  God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. (1 John 4:16 New Living Translation)

The law of love is GIVING.  We are to conform to His Image...

“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life... As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (John 3:16; 20:21 New Living Translation)

His Hand On Your Head...

I am so aware of God's presence this morning.  His unfailing love for us...  I understand what David meant when he said... "You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head... Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!" (Psalm 139:5-6 New Living Translation) Can you fathom that?  Can you feel His Hand on your head..., like a strong comforting Father with His beloved child... you?  Your past, your today and your future is in His Hands!  Like David, that is way beyond my comprehension!  I don't need to understand that, I just know and feel and revel in that knowledge today!

God is saying to you today...

Angels

Do you believe in angels?  Well I do and you better too!  There are myriads of angels given charge over God's people.

Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.  (Hebrews 1:14 New Living Translation)

For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.  (Psalm 34:7 New Living Translation)

You are never alone.  Angels encamps you and your family wherever you go.  These mighty, powerful angels never goes to sleep, they are always on guard, protecting, serving, and ministering to God's people!

Did you know that your children has their own angels watching over them?
